The LES Partnership is hosting a free afternoon event in Birmingham on the 13th June. It will include a brief overview of the Partnership and the benefits of being involved, followed by a practitioner workshop, exploring ‘partnership and innovation in air quality action planning.’
Participation is open to all local authority officers with an interest in low emission strategies and air quality action plans, though numbers are limited. Further details and full agenda will be circulated shortly. The event is free to attend and CPD certificates will be available.
The event forms part of the Partnership’s Annual General Meeting, with formal business to be completed earlier during a short morning session (attendance at the morning session is by invitation, as it is intended for existing members of the LES Partnership Board and Project Teams).

Followed by a workshop session, comprising a series of short presentations and group discussion around the policy, planning and implementation of low emission strategies and air quality action plans. Learning from this session will inform Defra funded research on action planning, which is being undertaken by the Partnership.
