The second meeting of the Forum was held in Sheffield on 1 July 2010. The meeting was split into three parts. The morning session provided an update on the work of the LES Partnership, a local news round up from Forum Members and discussions on the role for the Low Emission Forum and the use of a £5000 project fund. The afternoon session was a themed seminar on ‘Low Emission Strategies and Local Transport Plans’. Presentations were followed by a panel-led discussion on low emission strategies and local transport plans. Participants were then taken, by gas-powered minibus, to visit the gas refuelling station provided by local company Chesterfield Biogas at Sheffield City Council's transport depot.
